Media Smear on Creationism Doesn't Hold Water
By Mark W Johnson at 09/03/2008 - 6:36pm

The media and it's pundits is pushing the line that Sarah Palin is a proponent of teaching creationism in the public schools. This is primarily based on one comment she made in a debate. A sample of the punditry comments are below and provided by James Carville.......

CARVILLE: "I think, among social conservatives, she's going to be fine. She endorsed Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. And he's a hero to social conservatives. She's for teaching creationism in the public schools in Alaska, something that is sort of No. 1 on the social conservative agenda. So, yes, I think, to the kind of Pat Buchanan kind of Republicans, she's going to have some appeal." (CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360 Degrees," 8/29/08)

Little Green Footballs actually has someone of intelligence from Alaska that is able to comment on the truth to that statement. And the AP has had to write a story to clarify the issue. Read here.
